Peer Review History: Control of Peduncular Rot in Post-harvest Mango Fruits with treatment and Refri

The objective of this study was to judge the impact of treatment related to refrigeration on the management of peduncular rot in mango fruits (Mangifera indica) of the Tommy Atkins selection. For this, AN experiment was established within the phytopathology laboratory of the farming Sciences Center of the Federal University of Alagoas - UFAL - Delza Gitaí field - urban center Largo - AL, from Gregorian calendar month to December 2018. Mango fruits, antecedently inoculated with L. theobromae (106 con.mL-1), were immersed in heat water at temperatures of forty, 45, fifty and 55°C for one, five and ten minutes and so placed below refrigeration for five days, then evaluated for illness severity. The results show that treatment related to refrigeration is ready to regulate peduncular rot in mango fruits. The temperatures of fifty, fifty five and 60ºC within the time of nine minutes of fruit immersion showed 100% management of the illness, within the time of one minute solely the temperature of 60ºC given management superior to ninetieth of the illness, the temperatures of forty five , fifty and fifty five given management of seventy four.6, 76.2 and 89%, severally. within the time of five minutes, the temperatures of fifty five and 60ºC were the simplest with management superior to ninetieth of the illness. all told immersion times, the equation that best match the info was the third degree polynomial. The temperature of 40ºC, all told evaluated times, was the sole one that given management of the illness inferior to twenty.
