A Case for Indigenous Ghanaian Counselling Practice
The paper form a case for the inclusion of indigenous African directing practices in the 21st Century counselling practices. The apparent absence of a theoretical basis of indigenous exhorting practice, especially within the Ghanaian environment is addressed, in addition to what constitutes indigenous counseling and counselling. Additionally, the tools possible for uses by the inborn Ghanaian counsellor are scrutinized, in addition to situations that speed guidance and counselling in native settings. The merits and demerits of inborn Ghanaian counselling practices are also checked. The paper concludes with an backing for the inclusion of sure elements of indigenous directing practices in modern epoch delivery of counselling particularly in the African setting.
