A Comparative Study on Nutritional and Biochemical Characterization of Banana Cultivars of Assam
An experiment was attended in the Department of Horticulture, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat to evaluate the colossal diversity among the various banana germplasm in united states of america of Assam. The experiment comprised of 24 joker (Musa spp.) genotypes, of which the fruits were composed for precise biochemical description of the variations present in the accumulation. This analysis had created a table of the biochemical characterization of the products of different native banana genotypes of Assam from which, it maybe concluded that, skilled exists excellent genotype diversity among the Musa germplasm of Assam seeing the fruit biochemical facets and considerable amount of historical variations are present even among the approximately related genotypes inside the same genomic group.
