An Empirical Analysis of Women's Participation in Nigerian Politics from 1963 to 2022
Most of the state in Nigeria today are girls. There is no doubt that their participation in campaigning can bring about governmental and socio-economic development. Yet, daughters are sidelined and, most of moment of truth, relegated to the background in agreements of politics in spite of the affirmative action of 35% of women. Therefore, this study precariously reviews Nigerian women's partnership in politics based on the affirmatory declaration utilizing empirical studies done having to do with the issue at hand. The intersectional hypothesis serves as the study's theoretical foundation. Based on practical research from previous studies, it was told that for Nigeria to achieve democratic combination, women must rely prominence in mainstream governmental growth. So, it was submitted that steps be taken to fix the low number of wives in Nigerian politics, that will not make much of a difference as far as the country's socio-economic, enlightening, and political factors that hold women from being effective are fixed.
