Assessment of Available Water and Crop Water Requirements of Major Crops in Nagarjuna Sagar Right

The crop water necessity for paddy in NSRC command district of Guntur district for evil soils was 848.2 mm. The irrigation water necessity was 638.weapon that shoots and for red soils, crop water necessity for paddy and irrigation water necessities were 848.2 mm and 624.5 mm individually. Similarly, computed for all the crops and overall crop water demand for both (Guntur and Prakasam) departments of NSRC command area for various soils and various crops per annum was 4,456 MCM despite everything cattle and household water use. Based on the research, it was decided that the available water is not adequate and it is suggested to pick alternative crops for influencing entire district into cultivation.
