Assessment of Factors Influencing Women in Attending Higher Institutions in Sokoto State, Nigeria

The scientist investigated the amount of factors influencing girls in attending taller institutions in Sokoto state, Nigeria. To accomplish this objective, the researcher came up with four goals to guide the study: socio-cultural practices, instruction policies, academic accomplishment and socio-economic status. Descriptive survey arrangement was used as the study engaged to collect dossier from members of a given people to determine the rank of that particular population concerning one or more variables in the study. The aim population for the study was 74100 women acting as an agent the total number of women scholars in the two bigger institutions. A sample size of 382 was secondhand in the study. A proportionate inspecting technique was used to select accused. The research instruments used in this place study were questionnaires. A pilot study was approved and the questionnaire justified by the expert from the faculty of instruction and extension aids to establish the implements validity. To ascertain the dependability of the instruments, split half method was employed. Frequency tables were used to resolve the collected data. The verdict was presented by way of simple tables of repetitiveness count and simple percentage. Results were elucidated and required approvals made last of the study. It was found that less was less approach to higher institution by wives because of friendly cultural practices, instructional policies, academic performance and socio-financial status. Recommendations for further research were created.
