Constraints in Adoption of Animal Husbandry Practices in Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh, India..
The aim of this study was to discover the barriers to improved dairy-related activities among dairy farmers in adopted villages who have been receiving regular guidance and technical assistance from KVK, Banavasi, Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh. A total of 120 farmers from three mandals were chosen using a simple random sampling method and asked a series of questions about breeding, feeding, health care, and clean milk production, as well as recording and categorising constraints. The most serious infrastructural constraints, according to the beneficiaries, were "non-availability of green fodder during the year" (81.66 percent) and "A.I. centre not/distantly located" (64 percent). The key socio psychological constraints faced by the beneficiaries were "very high cost of rearing crossbred cows" (89.66 percent) and "excess workload" (84 percent).
