Determination of the Development Performances of Pecan Saplings in Aydin ecological Conditions | ..

The sapling growth success of Pecan cultivation in Aydn ecological conditions was investigated in this study. The rootstock "Burkett" was included, as well as the pecan cultivars "Mahan14", "Wichita7", and "Choctaw2". Sapling stem diameters were determined 5 cm above the graft site starting on the date of planting. Rootstock diameters were measured 5 cm below the graft site, bud burst dates (min percent 70 of buds) were determined, and shoot diameters were measured at 15-day intervals after the first two buds. Shoot lengths were measured every 15 days. The measurements were taken for two years in a row. Forms that have been repealed The Anova method is used to see whether there are any major variations in the results. The variations in cultivar production in both regions were investigated. Averages of five repeat measurements over two years and 12 separate times were used in the research. In the ecological conditions of Aydin (37°45′ 0′′N - 28°0′0′′E), pecan saplings developed well. These findings indicate that pecan production is possible in the province of Aydn, with the exception of extremely cold and dry climates. Future fruit productivity research can, however, back up the findings. The results of this study will be useful in areas with similar climatic conditions.
