Effect of Low Cost Storage Structure on Shelf Life and Quality of Onion Genotypes
The effect of sufficiently ventilated depository structure on jutting-life and quality of onion genotypes was intentional at CCS, Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. The experiment was conducted in a distinct factor accompanying one overflowing three replications. The lowest physiological weight deficits % was recorded (7.19%) at 30 days and (14.81%) at 120 days in Hisar onion-4 and skilled was no seen sprouting until 60 days in all the genotypes afterwards storage and before after start gradually sprouting in the bulbs in depository. lowest sprouting % was written from 90 days and 120 days (2.16% and 3.65%) in Hisar onion-4 respectively. Minimum crumbling % was recorded in Hisar Onion-4 and Hisar Onion-7 and total minimum deficits were recorded in Hisar Onion-4 and Hisar Onion-7 between the genotypes in storage. Minimum total losses was written in best check Hisar Onion-4 closely trailed by genotype Hisar Onion-7 during depository.
