Effect of Phosphorus and Potassium on Growth and Yield of lentil (Lens culinaris L.)
The field experiment was attended during Rabi season 2022 at exploratory field of Crop Research Farm, Department of Agronomy, Naini Agricultural Institute, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India. The soil of exploratory plot was sandy earth in texture, almost neutral in soil backlash (pH7.3), reduced in organic element (0.36%), available nitrogen (171.57 kg/ha), feasible planet seen at dawn (15.4 kg/ha) and available potassium (232.7 kg/ha). The research exists 3 levels of Phosphorus 30, 40, 50 kg/ha and Potassium 15, 20, 25 kg/ha. The experiment was layout in Randomized Block Design accompanying 9 situations each replicated thrice. Significantly bigger plant height (25.20 cm), plant dry burden (10.34 g), and the yield attributes namely children/pod (2.27), pods/plant (91.90), beginning yield (1847.93 kg/ha) and stover yield (2948.20 kg/ha) was with the situation 9 [Phosphorus 50 kg/ha + Potassium 25 kg/ha].
