Evaluation of Performance for the Quantitative Traits in Tomato (Solanum lycopersicon L.) Over
Present analyses were carried out in attractive woman determine the mean performance, comprehensive mean and range for nineteen quantitative integrities. Forty-five attractive woman hybrids were generated by intersection ten parents in randomized complete block design accompanying three replications at the Main Experiment Station, Department of Vegetable Science, ANDUA&T, Kumarganj, Ayodhya, all along winter (Rabi) season 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. The combined estimates of mean performance for total product yield per plant different from 2.35 to 3.24 kg for parents and 1.87 to 3.43 kg product for hybrids. The mean values over the persons and F1 hybrids were 2.51 and 2.68 kg, individually. The highest mean depiction for most desirable characteristics crop yield per plant was exhibited by P6 (3.24 kg) trailed by P9 (3.23 kg), P10 (3.09 kg), P5 (2.99 kg) and P4 (2.81 kg) for the parent. Among the hybrids, the chief crop yield per plant was exhibited by P2× P5 (3.43 kg) understood by P4× P9 (3.41 kg), P4× P7 (3.30 kg), P1× P5(3.22 kg) and P4× P8 (3.20 kg) in descending order.
