Examining the Factors that Influence the Use of Social Media for Disaster Management by Coastal Comm

Aims: To test how and why acted the coastal community folk (agriculture, growing plants in liquid and livestock farmers) selected social media for their accident management efforts engaging Technology Acceptance Model.Place and Duration of Study: Batiaghata upazila under Khulna district and Bagerhat Sadar, Chitalmari and Fakirhat upazila of Bagerhat district. Data was calm in February 2023.Methodology: Considering 95% confidence level and 10% Margin of Error 96 sample was estimated for the study. However, for forwarding non response we calm data from 25 more respondents, accordingly all together we collected dossier from 121 samples. The people who use social television, available during interview and deliberately agreed to provide dossier were selected intentionally as sample. The study was a quantitative research project that used free t-tests and descriptive statistics to resolve the information gathered. Data was Analyzed utilizing SPSS.Results: The study found 94% community folk either strongly agreed or concurred that they use social radio for gathering disaster news while 96% respondents strongly concurred or agreed to share disaster news with their friends and classifications. The outcome of the study established the event that a significant distinctness exists between seaside community people whose public media site custom was influenced by their perceived utility and those whose social news site usage was affected by their perceived ease of use (p<0.05).Conclusion: In seaside Bangladesh social media consumers gather disaster administration information from the media and again share this in their friends and kins. There is a high perception of see usefulness and ease of use of public media among seaside community people in Bangladesh, specifically Bagerhat and Khulna districts.
