Impact of Quality Assurance Measures on Students’ Performance in Refrigeration and Airconditioning
This study was created to assess graduates’ productivity in cooling and air conditioning everything as correlate of quality assurance measures in mechanics colleges. The study adopted a survey research design. The people for the study was all 223 refrigeration and air cooling (R&A) works juniors in state possessed technical colleges in cold west Nigeria. One research questions and three hypotheses proven at 0.05 level of significance guided the study. The implements used for dossier collection was the Quality Assurance (QA). The QA means developed for one researcher, has a total of 34 parts. The sample for the study was all 150 year two and three cooling and Air conditioning students in united states of america owned mechanics colleges in south west Nigeria. The trial test of the instrument was completed activity on 10 technical university R&A students the one are not part of the study. Face and content genuineness were carried out on the organized questionnaire by three consultants in test construction. The dependability coefficient computed for the QA with the use of the Cronbach Alpha was 0.79. Mean and predictable difference were used to answer the research questions. The study revealed a certain impact of curriculum exercise as an indices of Quality Assurance Measures but nevertheless observed a no-enough and negative impact of physical and infrastructural conveniences as available in the colleges with other findings. The study thenceforth recommended that in-aid teachers endure be given preparation in developing and utilizing continuous appraisals through refresher courses what philanthropist and graduates associations of the colleges be attracted to support the schools accompanying relevant knowledge facilities to a degree laboratory, mill, furniture and supplies among additional recommendations.
