Improving the Reading Habits of Class III Students Studying at Patshaling Primary School, Tsirang

The Reading tendency is an essential and important facet for creating the literate humankind in this experience. It shapes the personality of an individual and helps bureaucracy to develop the proper thinking systems and create new plans. At present, due to the influence of the communications industry, people do not show much interest in education books, magazines and journals. Therefore, skilled is an urgent need to embed and cultivate the reading dress in the minds of our young children. This study was administered to assess and determine few appropriate measures and methods to develop the reading tendencies of Class III students of Patshaling Primary school. Reading habits are best made at a young impressionable age in school, occurred one time only formed it can last one’s life (Green, 2001). The mixed, observational explanatory study of longitudinal design secondhand instruments like attention, diaries and interviews to collect two together qualitative and all-inclusive data. In this paper, the investigator also discussed miscellaneous methods and benefits in reconstructing reading habits. Findings from this study decided that the intervention program executed on 14 students of Class III pupils could significantly upgrade the reading practices and develop a certain attitude towards reading. This research comes as the answer to both the scholars and students of lower elementary school students who are fighting to improve their study habits. The study determines some useful intuitiveness into developing study habits and in what way or manner reading habits maybe enhanced to reach maximum development in our young children.
