Influence of Biofertilizer and Zinc on Growth, Yield and Economics of Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.)
A field experiment was administered during kharif 2022 at Crop Research Farm, Department of Agronomy, SHUATS, Prayagraj (U.P) to study the “Influence of Biofertilizer and Zinc on progress, yield and commerce of Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.)”. To Study treatment containing three levels of Azotobacter chroococcum viz. 10g/kg, 15g/kg and 20g/kg and three levels of Zinc namely. 15kg/ha, 20kg/ha and 25kg/ha. There were 10 situations, each of which was copied three times and planned in randomized block design. The results presented that treatment 9 [Azotobacter chroococcum (20g/kg) + Zinc (25kg/ha)] written significant greater plant crest (214.23 cm), higher dry burden (120.23 g), higher distance of ear head (25.44 cm), taller beginning yield (4310.02 kg/ha), higher hay yield (6810.02 kg/ha) and higher harvest index (38.75 %) was written in situation 9 [Azotobacter chroococcum (20g/kg) + Zinc (25kg/ha)]. Similarly, maximum gross return (85752.38 INR/ha), maximum net return (58302.38 INR/ha) and highest benefit cost percentage (2.12) was also written in situation 9 [Azotobacter chroococcum (20g/kg) + Zinc (25 kg/ha)] as compared to additional treatments.
