Influence of Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) and Boron on Growth and Yield of Maize (Zea mays. L)
A field experiment was transported all the while kharif season of 2022 at Crop Research Farm (CRF), Department of Agronomy, SHUATS, Prayagraj (U.P), to evaluate the influence of IAA and boron on the progress and yield of maize. The situation incorporated 3 levels of IAA (30 ppm,60 ppm and 90ppm) and Boron (0.5%, 1.0%, and 1.5%) both as foliar sprays and a control. The experiment was designed in a Randomized Block Design accompanying nine situations and individual control each replicated thrice. The results displayed that situation 9 accompanying foliar application of IAA (90 ppm), and boron (1.5%) written taller tumor and yield attribute viz. plant climax (185.70 cm), more dry pressure (182.15 g), the maximum number of cobs per plant (1.49), the maximum number of rows per person who produces crops (15.97), maximum number of grains per row (22.27), seed index (24.79 g), bigger seed yield (4.99 t/ha), taller stover yield (10.20 t/ha), larger harvest index (32.85%), maximum gross return (1,98,470.00 INR/ha), net return (1,38,620.00 INR/ha) and B:C ratio (2.31).
