Inverted Power Rama Distribution with Applications to Life Time Data | Asian Journal of Probability

As an extension of the Inverted Rama distribution, we introduced the Inverted Power Rama distribution in this paper. This new distribution can model real-world data with heavy tails and an upside-down bathtub shape. The quantile function, mode, moments, and moment generating function, entropy measure, stochastic ordering, and distribution of order statistics are all mathematical and statistical characteristics that have been derived. In addition, reliability measures such as the survival function, the hazard function, and the odds function have been developed. The maximum likelihood approach was used to estimate the distribution's parameters. A numerical example was given to illustrate the distribution's applicability. The proposed distribution outperformed the competing distributions based on the analysis.
