Medication Adherence in Renal Patients
Background: Medication devotion is defined as in consideration of patients taking drugs as prescribed by doctors. It is the important factor that determines the healing outcomes in the patient. The data collected involves renal patient’s demographic analyses, past history, complaints, drugs and interviewed ruling class regarding their medications use by utilizing morisky adherence inquiry.Results: The study was performed on 300 renal inmates in the nephrology department. From this data about 31(10%) of the patients were entirely adherent and 269(90%) of the patients were non-devotee to the medications. 66(24%) were non-devotee due to forgetfulness about cures, 49(18.2%) were non-adherent by way of very frequent changes made in the drug procedure, 63(23.4%) of the patients were non-adherent by way of expensive cures.Conclusion: In our study, we observed that most of the people are ignorant of their own medical condition and about their drugs use. We assessed that ignorance on renal complications and purpose of medication devotion will cause the non-medication devotion in the renal patients. So, the health care specialists must educate the subjects regarding their severity of their energy condition, usage and significance of their prescribed drugs and advantages of hemodialysis in CKD patients, digestive restrictions to upgrade their quality of life and to defeat mortality rate. Non devotion can be also a result of reduced economic rank.
