Moisture Conservations Options for Boosting System Productivity under Pearl Millet
The present review was carried out to study the Moisture conservations alternatives for boosting structure productivity under Pearl millet: Cluster bean strip intercropping under abnormal weather situations of cold-western Haryana. The experiment was designed in randomized block design comprising nine situations replicated thrice. Pearl millet: Cluster bean strip cutting (6:3) under deep summer ploughing written maximum land equivalent ratio (1.37) and gem millet equivalent yield (29.30 q/ha) over conventional and hay mulching practices. While, the highest gross return Rs. 50134, net return Rs. 21749 and B:C (1.77) too recorded under Pearl millet: Cluster kernel strip cropping (6:3) under deep vacation ploughing (30 cm depth) over additional treatments. Pearl millet: Cluster bean strip cutting (with inexperienced ratio 6:3) under deep summertime ploughing (30 cm depth) dampness conservation practice significantly bettering of system output, land equivalent ratio and gem millet equivalent yield of pearl millet + Cluster kernel strip cropping system.
