Periodontal Disease and COVID 19 | Journal of Pharmaceutical Research International
The aim of this research is to see if there's a connection between periodontal disease and COVID 19. The WHO declared a global pandemic of the Coronavirus, which has severely impacted every country's healthcare framework and health care professionals worldwide. Every person is experiencing severe economic and emotional problems as a result of the pandemic. The similarity in the inflammatory response pathway suggests a possible connection between COVID 19 and periodontitis. In the COVID19 case, preserving periodontal health and maintaining cautious and good oral hygiene should be given considerable importance due to the relationship. There's also a possibility that periodontal disorder is to blame for a person's COVID-19 negative results. This relationship depicts the interrelationship between periodontal disease and COVID- 19, as well as the cytokine relationship, which suggests ways to improve oral hygiene during a COVID situation.
