Precision Agriculture Technology: A Literature Review | Asian Journal of Advanced Research and Repor

This research is a survey on state-of-the-art methods for crop management, pest and disease management, soil and irrigation management, livestock farming and the challenges it poses, focused on artificial intelligence and image processing for precision agriculture. Precision farming (PA) is defined as the application of current technologies to traditional methods of farming. In order to boost the economy, these methods have proven to be highly productive, sustainable and profitable for farmers. This research is a survey of the latest state of the art techniques used in precision farming. It is anticipated that the implementation of precision agriculture will deliver an increase in productivity that eventually ends in benefit for the farmer, enhances sustainability for society and also improves the economy.
