Dermatophytoses is a fungal infection that affects keratin-rich tissues. Dermatophytes are the fugus responsible. Ring worm, often known as "tinea," is a parasitic illness. Because of the high levels of humidity, moisture, and sweating in the summer, it is more common in tropical countries and locations. Recurrent dermatophytosis is a challenge for dermatologists in India, accounting for 9.3% of all dermatophytosis cases. The goal of this study is to find out how common dermatophytosis is among patients who visit the Maheshwari Hospital and Diagnostic Centre in Badaun. A one-and-a-half-year survey was carried out. Maheshwari Hospital and Diagnostic Centre in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, provided the samples. The study enlisted the participation of 300 patients. For screening and confirmation of various fungal infections, physical inspection, KOH test, microscopy, and culture tests were used. Dermatophytosis was shown to be prevalent in 60% of patients, with males being more affected. Patients in the 16–30 and 31–40 year old age groups were particularly affected.
