Seismic Analysis of Simply Supported Damped Rayleigh Beams on Elastic Foundation | Asian Research ..

The flexural analysis of a simply supported damped Rayleigh beam subjected to dispersed loads and with damping due to transverse displacement resistance sitting on elastic foundation is obtained in this study. The beam's properties are supposed to be consistent along its length, and the foundation is assumed to be Winkler type. The Fourier sine integral transformation is used in conjunction with the asymptotic approach of Struble to solve the governing equations for transversal vibrations in the beam structure generated by moving load in order to analyse the vibration characteristics of the dynamical system. Prestress and other structural characteristics were taken into account. The structural factors have a considerable impact on the dynamical system's behaviour, according to numerical results.
