Study of the Variation of Some Biochemical Parameters in Rattus norgevicus | Asian Journal of Resear
In order to establish the diagnosis of many diseases, biochemical evaluation in animals is of crucial importance. Changes in biochemical parameters (urea, glycemia, creatinemia, transaminases: GPT and GOT, total cholesterol, HDL-c, LDL-c, triglycerides and total lipids) are measures of the health status of some vital organs, such as the kidneys, liver, pancreas, veins, core, etc... A number of batches of male and female Wistar rats were developed and acclimatised for 2 months in order to be able to determine the normal values of rats for this analysis. Thirty-nine (39) rats made up each batch collection. Each rat was weighed and then collected at the caudal level by venipuncture to gather their blood in a dry tube (red). For determining the biochemical parameters, the red tube was used. The findings of this study revealed that before using some beneficial or harmful material on them, certain animals already had such pathologies. Most of the animals used, however, have standard biochemical parameters that indicate the good condition of their various vital functions (kidney, liver, heart, veins, pancreas, etc.). These values will form the basis for future tests when deciding standard biochemical parameters.
