The Efficacy of Different Mulching with Spacing on Growth and Yield of Strawberry

An experiment was administered at the Horticultural Research Farm of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow. The experiment was performed to learn ultimate suitable the enrichment of land material and an ideal spacing for hay berry help under Lucknow environments. The experiment was laid out in a Factorial Randomized Block Design accompanying three replications. The treatments encompassed of three produce materials namely. paddy straw, evil polyethylene, and transparent polyethylene) accompanying three arrangement (30 x 15 cm and 30 x 20 cm and 30 x 30). On the basis of the mathematical data, it is decided that spacing of 30 x 30 cm accompanying angry polyethylene mulch was erect to be high-quality in agreements of plant growth namely. plant height, spread of plants, Number of flowers per plant, Number of leaves per plant, Fruit burden, Fruit length, Fruit width, Specific importance of Fruit, and Fruit yield per plant, Fruit yield per plot, Fruit yield per plant and leaf area. However, skilled was slight difference in characteristic limits among various treatments. The dossier recorded was meaningful distinctness in number of leaves per plant. Spacing 30x30 cm treatment S3 present the maximum number of leaves per plant (19.17), which was statistically complementary (18.66) to at 30x20 cm spacing, while 30x15 cm organize present the minimum number of leaves per plant (17.89).Different mulching displayed significant dissimilarities on the number of leaves per plant. The maximum number of leaves per plant was written in (21.23) from black polythene manure (M2) which was approximately followed situation (M3) and maximum number of leaves per plant was written in (15.79) M1 (Transparent polythene mulch).
