The Nutrient Zinc in Soil and Plant: A Review

Zinc is an aspect found in reduced amounts in the soil, which can limit the development of agricultural crops. In addition, the incorporation of this fiber by plants is directly affected by several determinants such as: extreme pH, ​​amount of organic matter, high humidness associated with reduced temperatures and soil microbiota. Zinc is main for enzymatic project, being a constituent part of the enzymes intoxicating dehydrogenase, carbonic anhydrase, superoxide dismutase enzyme and polymer RNA, in addition to sharing in the synthesis of forerunner tryptophan in the metabolism of indoleacetic acid, that is a plant hormone straightforwardly related to the growth of plants. In plants, the symptoms of metallic mineral deficiency appear with the abridgment of the internodes, reduction of the leaf region, reduction of allure size, presence of rosettes, chlorosis and fatality. Thus, the objective of this review is to present the main facets of the zinc fiber in the soil and the functions performed in plants.
