Tropospheric Influence on Low-band Very High Frequency (VHF) Radio Waves
The goals of this study search out understudy the belongings of temperature and relative dampness on low-band VHF signals, obtain a procreation model for signal transmission over Calabar and to confirm the suitability of the emptiness propagation model for the study landscape. Results obtained shows that hotness and relative humidity has no effect on depressed-band VHF signals. The suitability of the emptiness propagation model for the study landscape failed, as calculated results minimized path deficits in the study area. Multiple reversion analysis was used to get a suitable diffusion model for the study terrain. However, because the studied of or in the atmosphere variables has no effect on low-band VHF signals in the study extent, the measured path misfortunes could be accredit foliage, highlands, distance away from the transmitter and additional components of the study landscape in which the signal is breeded.
