Two-phase MHD Flow through Porous Medium with Heat Transfer in a Horizontal Channel | Asian .....

The current research looks at two-layered MHD immiscible fluid flow through a porous medium with heat transfer through a parallel plate channel. The fluids are incompressible, and the flow has reached its maximum potential. Since the fluids have different viscosities and thermal conductivities, they flow without mixing. There are two separate phases that are electrically conducting and are accounted for in this analysis. The temperature of the parallel plate channel's walls remains constant. In nature, the rheological properties of immiscible fluids are unchanged. Coupled partial differential equations rule the flow, which are translated to ordinary differential equations and exact solutions are found. For different heights and viscosity ratios, the velocity profile and temperature distribution for the two immiscible fluids are evaluated and solved numerically. For velocity profile and temperature distribution, the effect of magnetic field parameter M and porosity parameter K is discussed. The flow is accelerated by the combined effects of the porous medium and magnetic fields, which can be useful in draining oil from oil wells.
